Cooking Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Brown ground beef in skillet. Drain off excess fat. Stir in onion, green pepper, and garlic. Sauté until tender. Add seasonings, tomato sauce, and tomatoes. Simmer 5 minutes to blend flavors.
Into buttered 3-quart baking dish, layer the cooked rice, cottage cheese, and meat sauce. Bake uncovered at 350°F for 30-minutes. Remove and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake additional 10-minutes.
