1 cup Mahatma® Whole Grain Brown Rice
2 cups 2% milk
1/2 cup prunes, chopped
1 Tbsp butter
1 tsp ground cinnamon
honey (optional)
brown sugar (optional)
fresh fruit (optional)

Cooking Directions

Prepare rice according to package directions.  Combine cooked rice, milk, prunes, butter, and cinnamon in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil; stirring frequently. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and simmer 8 to 10 minutes or until thickened. Serve with honey or brown sugar and fresh fruit, if desired. Makes six servings.
